How to Use the Improving Intimacy Course
Daniel walks through how the 10 modules, 46 lessons, Guided Opportunities, and printable couples workbook fit together—whether you are working through the course solo or alongside your spouse.
Objective: know exactly what to expect each week, and what to do when life gets in the way.
The course is divided into weekly modules, each with daily practices I call Growth Opportunities — G.O. exercises. Each module builds on the one before it.
A new module unlocks every 7 days. That’s deliberate. In my experience, people see far more success when each concept is practiced for at least a week before the next one arrives — awareness has to become familiarity before it becomes change. Once a module unlocks, it stays open; you can always revisit.
Your honest time budget: 20–30 minutes a day. Some days it’s a practice you weave into ordinary moments; some days it’s focused reflection with a worksheet. Every exercise tells you up front how long it takes.
And here is the most important rule in the whole course: a missed day is data, not failure. If you forget a day — and you will — the assignment is not to start over or feel behind. The assignment is to get curious: what pulled you away? That curiosity is the skill you’re building. You’ll get the most out of these modules if your focus is on the experience and integration of the skills, not the speed at which you finish.
Key takeaways
- One module per week; 20–30 minutes a day; everything stays open once unlocked.

Practice Architecture: Script → Practice → Reflect
Script (In-the-Room Words): “I am taking this course to work on my own part, my own grounding, and my own choices — without turning this learning into a test or assignment for anyone else.”
Practice (This Week): Take your baseline 12-item Intimacy Compass in the interactive Member Hub (or workbook) and choose one quiet 15-minute window this week for your own reflection.
Reflect: What is a manageable way to return to this course in your actual week? If you miss a practice, what could you notice with curiosity?
Solo-Start & Partner-Optional Note: Every practice in Module 0 works 100% solo. If you are single, dating, or participating without a partner, use these tools to clarify how you show up in the relationships that matter to you.
