Therapy & Coaching

Therapy aligned with your values and backed by science — no shame, just healing. Here’s how to find the right fit.

Specialties

Go deeper on the areas I work in most: LDS couples therapy, sexless marriage counseling, religious trauma & purity culture recovery, faith transition counseling, and online therapy & coaching.

Couples & marriage therapy

For couples working through desire differences, sexless marriage, communication breakdowns, pornography-related conflict, betrayal recovery, or a faith transition that’s shaking the foundation. My approach is trauma-informed yet solution-oriented: we don’t villainize either partner — we rebuild trust, understanding, and intimacy step by step.

Individual therapy

One-on-one counseling for sexual shame, anxiety, faith crises, purity culture wounds, and relational difficulties you need to work through personally. A safe, nonjudgmental space with clinically accurate information — whether your questions are about faith, sexuality, identity, or all three.

Family therapy & parent coaching

For families navigating sensitive territory — a teen’s pornography use, questions about sexuality, coming out, or simply learning to talk about hard things without panic or punishment. I help parents move from being enforcers to being empathic mentors, replacing silence and shame with open dialogue, accurate information, and unconditional love.

Coaching (available anywhere)

Not in a state where I’m licensed, or looking for education- and goal-focused guidance rather than mental-health treatment? Coaching sessions cover the same terrain — intimacy, communication, faith transitions, relationship structure questions — in a flexible, skill-building format available regardless of where you live.

Consultation for professionals & leaders

Case consultation and mentorship for therapists working with religious clients, and guidance for clergy, educators, and organizations on approaching sexuality and mental health with accuracy and compassion — including workshops and trainings.

Therapy or coaching — what’s the difference?

Therapy is healthcare: deep emotional work and mental-health treatment for residents of states where I’m licensed — Utah, California, and Idaho — delivered by secure telehealth. Coaching is education- and goal-oriented, available anywhere, and is not healthcare or covered by insurance. We’ll sort out the right fit in your free consult.

Getting started
